The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate William P. Huizenga, Huizenga for Congress, refunded $1,000 to Bruce J. Essex on March 31, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Huizenga for Congress has refunded $13,200 total since Oct. 1, 2020.
