EUGENE, OREGON – On day four of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, Erika Beistle finished in fourth place in the qualifying round of the women's discus throw, advancing to the final round.

Beistle achieved a new personal best and Grand Valley State school record of 61.68 meters on her first throw of the trials, securing her position within the Top 12. She previously held the Grand Valley State school record with a distance of 58.89 meters.

The women's discus throw finals will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 7:50 p.m. (ET). The top three throwers will secure their spots for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.

The 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials will be broadcast on NBC and USA. The Peacock streaming service will also stream all field events individually. Fans can follow along with live results through an available link.
