The GVSU women's golf team is set to commence their postseason play at the Stonehenge North Golf Course, located at the Gull Lake Golf Club and Resort. The competition will start with an 18-hole round on Friday, where the Lakers will tee off at 10:45 a.m.

The tournament format includes another 18 holes on Saturday, which will determine the individual GLIAC Medalist and the four teams advancing to the match play semifinals scheduled for later that afternoon. The victorious teams from Saturday's semifinals will compete in Sunday's championship match for the GLIAC Championship title.

Representing the Lakers this weekend are Olivia Stoll, Paula Badino, Julia Sanchez, Megan Miron, and Rachael Krieger. They are paired with Wayne State and Ferris State for Friday's opening round. The Lakers enter this stage of the season following a strong performance at the UMSL Spring Invite last weekend, where they finished third.

GVSU holds a significant position as they are ranked 22nd nationally, making them the highest-ranked team in this field. Wayne State follows as the next highest-rated school within their league at #49. Other participating schools like Ferris State, Davenport, and SVSU also hold positions within the top 100 nationally.

The Lakers aim to secure their 17th GLIAC Title since 2001 and their first since achieving victory in 2022.
