GVSU men's golf team finishes tenth at NCAA Championships

The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) men's golf team concluded their season with a 10th place finish at the NCAA Championships held in Orlando, Florida. The team shot a final round of 291, which is seven over par.

Drew Coble was the top performer for the Lakers, finishing tied for 18th place with a score of one under par. Coble's round included five birdies and he carded an even-par 71. Manuel Cue Vargas ended his tournament tied for 45th place at four over par, making one birdie in his final round of 77.

Bryce Wheeler finished tied for 55th place with a score of five over par after shooting a one-under-par 70, which included four birdies. Charlie Cooley tied for 65th place with a total score of seven over par, making three birdies in his round of 74. Nick Krueger made one birdie in his final round of 76 to tie for 70th place at five over par.
