GVSU men's golf team falls to Ferris State at GLIAC Championship

The GVSU men's golf team faced a setback at the GLIAC Championship held at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan. The team was defeated by Ferris State with a final score of 3-0-2.

In individual performances, Charlie Cooley and Bryce Wheeler both ended their matches in ties. Cooley recorded a score of 72, while Wheeler finished with a 70. Drew Coble shot a 71 but lost his match by three strokes. Nick Krueger scored a 76, losing by seven strokes, and Manuel Cue Vargas had a score of 74, resulting in a four-stroke loss.

Looking ahead, the Lakers will next compete from May 9th to May 11th when they travel to Oklahoma for the Regionals.
