Erika Beistle, Eli Kosiba, Jonathan Rankins-James, and Myles Kerner represented Grand Valley State University at the 2025 USATF Indoor Championships in Staten Island, New York. The event concluded on Sunday afternoon.
Eli Kosiba achieved a notable performance by securing second place in the men's high jump. He cleared a height of 2.22 meters (7-3.25), earning him the title of runner-up.
The competition began for the Lakers with Erika Beistle participating in the women's shot put finals on Saturday. Beistle was unable to advance after recording three consecutive fouls, which prevented her from reaching the finals round for additional throws.
On Sunday morning, Kosiba and Jonathan Rankins-James competed in the high jump event. While Kosiba secured his podium finish, Rankins-James tied for sixth place with a jump of 2.12 meters (6-11.5).
Myles Kerner wrapped up the weekend for Grand Valley State in the men's shot put finals on Sunday afternoon. Over six attempts, he managed four valid throws and two fouls, with his best throw measuring 19.12 meters (62-8.75).
