Grand Valley State University's track and field teams are set to begin their postseason at the 2025 GLIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event, hosted by Saginaw Valley State University, will take place from March 1 to March 2.

The competition kicks off with the women's pentathlon at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Grand Valley athletes start competing at 10:25 a.m., including Mason Floria in the men's heptathlon 60m event. Running events are scheduled from 2:50 p.m. to 6:35 p.m., while field events will occur between 3 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. On Sunday, activities begin at 9 a.m. with the men's heptathlon (60m hurdles), followed by field events starting at 10:30 a.m., continuing until at least 1:30 p.m., and running events from 12:15 p.m., concluding with the last event at 3 p.m.

GVSU is seeded first in numerous events, with its athletes holding top rankings nationally and regionally. "Both track and field squads head into championship season ranked at number two in the nation," states an official report, highlighting their top positions in both the Midwest region and conference standings.

The Laker women aim for their "26th consecutive GLIAC Indoor title," which would further cement their status as the most successful program in both GLIAC and Grand Valley State history. Meanwhile, the men are pursuing their "24th GLIAC crown since 2000."

In total, GVSU will send sixty athletes—thirty men and thirty women—to compete over the weekend, many of whom hold high national rankings within NCAA Division II.
