Earlier today, the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the final participants for the 2025 NCAA DII Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event will take place from March 13 to March 15 at the Fall Creek Pavilion at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. This marks the first time Indianapolis hosts these indoor championships.

A total of 540 athletes, split evenly between men and women, will compete in various events. Each individual event features the top 18 declared student-athletes, while relay teams are limited to the top 12.

Grand Valley's track and field programs have secured a total of 36 individual entries along with three relay teams. The women's team has 16 athletes competing individually, as well as participating in both the 4x400 and distance medley relays. Meanwhile, the men's team boasts 20 individual entries plus participation in the men's distance medley relay.

Among Grand Valley's women competitors, five athletes will participate in multiple events. Lauren Kiley and Maria Mitchell lead with three events each: two individual races and one relay. Alaina Diaz, Natalie Graber, and Catherine Guckenberger will each compete in two events.

On the men's side, five athletes are set to compete in more than one event. Four of them will take part in an individual event as well as the distance medley relay (DMR). Koby Fraaza is entered in both the men's 3000m race and anchors the DMR. Myles Rhodes competes in the 200m race before running a leg of the relay. Scott Spaanstra participates individually in the 800m race along with his role on the DMR team. Owen Westerkamp leads off for the DMR after competing individually in men's mile run. Myles Kerner stands out by participating solely in two individual events: weight throw and shot put.

Several Lakers hold top-five seeds entering their respective events at this year's championships. Lauren Kiley is seeded second while Natalie Graber holds fourth position within women's 3000m category; they recorded entry times of 9:13:90 seconds (Kiley) versus Graber’s time standing slightly behind at around nine minutes seventeen seconds point thirty-seven milliseconds mark respectively – indicating close competition ahead!
