Residents of the city are reminded to prepare for the annual spring clean-up by placing yard clippings, shrub trimmings, wind-blown twigs, and small branches no larger than three inches in diameter onto the curb or road shoulders. This process began on March 9.

To ensure collection, residents must have their piles ready by the end of April 6. The City Street Department Crews will start picking up these materials on the morning of April 7. They will make a single pass through the city during that week. If a pile has not been collected yet, residents may continue adding to it. However, once a pile has been picked up, crews will not return for additional items.
