Her performance included scoring four goals, securing six groundballs, and causing three turnovers against two ranked opponents. In Friday's game against Maryville, Swope scored two goals, collected four groundballs, and caused one turnover. She continued her strong play on Sunday against UIndy with two more goals, two groundballs, and two caused turnovers. So far this season, Swope has accumulated 12 points from nine goals and three assists along with 14 groundballs, seven draw controls, and four caused turnovers.
Junior goalkeeper Sarah Krause was recognized as the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week. During 60 minutes of playtime, she made 13 saves to surpass 100 career saves. Against fifth-ranked Maryville on Friday, Krause saved seven shots while allowing four goals. On Sunday against ninth-ranked UIndy, she added six more saves to reach a milestone of 100 career saves.
