On March 26, 2025, Rep. Huizenga expressed his support for a stablecoin bill, highlighting its potential to transform payment systems. Demonstrating a commitment to bipartisan initiatives, he shared that he is an original cosponsor of the legislation alongside colleagues Rep. Bryan Steil and Rep. French Hill. He anticipated and looked forward to the markup scheduled for the following week. "Stablecoins have the potential to simplify our payment systems and revolutionize the way we move money. On March 27, 2025, Rep. Huizenga congratulated Sen. Gary Peters and Senator Bernie Moreno for their new roles as Chairs of the Senate Great Lakes Task Force. He underscored the importance of Michigan and Ohio collaborating on Great Lakes preservation, despite differing views in sports, and expressed his wishes to work jointly towards this goal. Later on March 27, 2025, he focused on energy policies, advocating for the development and export of LNG as a means to enhance energy security, create American jobs, and offer more affordable energy prices for citizens. "Developing our energy resources and exporting LNG means more good-paying American jobs, greater energy security, and lower, more affordable prices for Americans!"
