The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) women's lacrosse team has again captured the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Week awards. Ashleigh Rothe and Kylie Waeghe earned these honors for the second consecutive week.

Ashleigh Rothe, a senior, was named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Rothe contributed significantly to the Lakers' victories over Concordia-St. Paul and Northern Michigan by accumulating 13 points from nine goals and four assists in the two matches. She also contributed six draw controls, three groundballs, and a caused turnover. On Friday, Rothe executed a hat trick and two assists during a 17-10 win against Concordia-St. Paul. On Sunday against Northern Michigan, she matched her career-best by scoring six goals, along with two assists, and securing six draw controls, which helped secure an overtime victory. Rothe currently leads GVSU in goals with 28, in assists with 14, in points with 42, and in draw controls with 42.

Junior Kylie Waeghe received the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade for the second time in her career. Her contributions over the two victorious matches included four groundballs, two draw controls, and a caused turnover. Specifically, she collected two groundballs in the game against Concordia-St. Paul on Friday, followed by two groundballs, two draw controls, and one caused turnover during the overtime win against Northern Michigan. Waeghe leads her team in groundballs with 21 and is third in the team rankings for caused turnovers, with nine.
