A Special School Millage Election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th, with polling places open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. To accommodate voters, the Clerk’s Office at City Hall will extend its hours on Saturday, May 3rd, operating from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. This extension is aimed at allowing residents to register or obtain absentee ballots in a timely manner.

Residents seeking to register within the 14-day period leading up to the election must provide proof of residency. It is important to note that early voting is designated only for state and federal elections. Consequently, early voting will not be available for Holland elections in 2025.

"Please remember that registration within 14 days of an election requires proof of residency," the statement from the Clerk's Office emphasized. Additionally, the community is reminded that "Early Voting is only for State and Federal Elections; therefore, no Holland elections will have early voting in 2025."
