Rep. Bill Huizenga, a U.S. Congressman representing Michigan's 4th district since 2011, has been actively engaging with his constituents and fellow lawmakers through social media. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969, Huizenga currently resides in Holland and is an alumnus of Calvin College.

On May 14, 2025, Huizenga announced significant economic news related to Michigan following President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia. He reported that an IV company plans to invest $500 million into building a facility in Detroit. He remarked on this development via Twitter: "Big news! Following President Trump’s successful visit to Saudi Arabia, an IV company has announced its plan to build a $500M facility in Detroit! It’s great to see @POTUS and the Trump Administration continue to deliver for Michigan and our nation!"

Bill Huizenga's political career began in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2003 until 2009 before succeeding Pete Hoekstra as a member of Congress.
