Pine Avenue will be closed to traffic between 4th and 7th Streets starting Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 8:00 am. The closure is due to work being done by a third-party contractor on the Padnos railroad crossing located on Pine Avenue. The project is scheduled to finish by 5:00 pm on August 15, 2025.

During this period, drivers will be detoured eastbound on 4th Street, southbound on Central Avenue, and then westbound on 7th Street before returning to Pine Avenue. City officials have stated that the road closure may cause significant travel delays and recommend that motorists find alternate routes or adjust their travel times.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout the duration of the project through coordination with the contractor.
