City of Holland schedules public hearings on tax abatement and district assessments

The City of Holland has announced that several public hearings will be held during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on October 15, 2025. The meetings are set to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 270 S River Ave.

One of the hearings will address a request from Hudsonville Creamery and Ice Cream Company, LLC for an Industrial Facilities Tax Abatement. Other hearings scheduled for the same evening include considerations of the final assessment rolls for the Fiscal Year 2026 Principal Shopping District Assessment, Downtown Parking Operations and Maintenance Assessment, and Downtown Snowmelt Operations Assessment.

All residents and interested parties are invited to attend these hearings to provide input or learn more about these proposed measures.
