ALLENDALE BAPTIST CHURCH: COVID-19 Response

Allendale Baptist Church issued the following announcement on March 24

Statement

In a spirit of cooperation with our state government, our church will be complying with the executive order from the Governor prohibiting all events and assemblages over 50 people as well as the executive order to "Stay Home, Stay Safe".

We are also doing our best to follow the hygiene and social distancing measures recommended by the President.

All official church gatherings and events are canceled unless you are notified otherwise.

The Connection Center offices have also been closed for the time being.

You can still reach Pastor Mark and Pastor Tim through phone and email: office@allendalebaptist.org.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are in need. Additionally, we have assigned an elder to every member and regular attender at Allendale Baptist.

If you don't know who your elder is, ask us and we will let you know!

While our church services and all other events are canceled, our commitment to Christ, the great commission, and our mission as a church has not ceased.

More than ever we are pursuing our mission to:

CONNECT with God and each other,

GROW in Christ-likeness, and to

SHARE the love of Jesus.

The leadership at Allendale Baptist is committed to pursuing these aims through the means available to us including video, social media, email, phone calls, acts of service, and so on.

Pastor Mark made a great point that when the Apostle Paul wrote the prison epistles, he was essentially quarantined!

Just as God could use the Apostle Paul in prison, he can use you during this time as well.

Below you will find a list of ways you can serve.

And if we can serve you in any way, please let us know by emailing us at office@allendalebaptist.org.

Ways to serve

  • Pray for our church and community.
  • Call or video call people in the church.
  • Send a letter, email, or text of encouragement.
  • Send a note to our teens and kids while they are off from school.
  • Donate to our benevolence fund to help those in need.
  • Pick up groceries for those at risk (email us for more information).
  • Continue to give to the church’s general budget.
