City of Grand Haven recently issued the following announcement.
The Human Relations Commission is a group of volunteer community members appointed by the mayor, with approval from City Council. They work to encourage and promote understanding, sensitivity, awareness, and respect among all groups in the city and beyond to encourage diversity, equity and inclusion.
The HRC promotes the guarantee of equal rights for all assured by the constitution and the laws of this state and of the United States of America.
