City of Douglas issued the following announcement on Oct 8.
NOTICE OF POINT PLEASANT MUNICIPAL MARINA SEASONAL SLIP LOTTERY
Notice is hereby given that the City of Douglas will use a lottery system to lease seasonal slips for two (2) consecutive years at the Point Pleasant Municipal Marina for the 2022 & 2023 boating season. There are 13 slips available, and applications will be drawn randomly. Slip assignment will be determined by staff.
Applications will be accepted through November 29, 2021, until 4:30 pm at Douglas City Hall. Applications can be found at www.Douglasmi.gov or Douglas City Hall located at 86 W. Center Street during office hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Lottery drawing will take place at City Hall on November 30, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Results will be posted December 1, 2021, on the City’s website.
