City of Grand Haven issued the following announcement on Feb 22.
Welcome to Melissa Bos - Administrative Assistant for the Department of Public Works!
In Melissa’s words:
“I was born and raised in Grand Haven. I lived in Texas for a couple years, but like a boomerang couldn’t stay away for long. I love my home town and the people here too much. I have a 9 month old Mini Australian Labroodle who is a bundle of fluff named Annie. In the summertime and nice days, you’ll find Annie and I walking around on the boardwalk and downtown. I love biking on the various bike trails in the warmer months, meeting new people, singing and playing piano, and cooking and baking. I’ve been a hairstylist for 22 years. I have 17 year old twin niece (Nevaeh) and nephew (Keaghan) and a 8yr old niece ( Brynlee) who are my world. I have 2 older brothers, My oldest brother, Jeremy, is a professor at Michigan Tech University. My “middle” brother, Chris, is the 51 District State Representative for Illinois. I’m a proud little sister. I love that this job allows me to be more active in serving our community.”
