Due to weather conditions delaying the completion of the work

UPDATE:  Due to weather conditions delaying the completion of the work, short duration mobile lane closures for signal work will resume Monday, November 28, 2022, and extend thru Friday, December 2, 2022.

ITS traffic cameras and traffic signal detection upgrade work on US-31 from Hayes Street to Jackson Avenue is set to begin construction in the City of Grand Haven.

Replacement of the existing Vehicle Detection Nodes requires short duration (30-60 minute) mobile lane closures on NB and SB US-31 between Hayes Street and Jackson Avenue.  Closures will be limited to a single lane at a time at the intersection where work is being performed.  All work requiring lane closures will be performed between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.  These restrictions will be in addition to lane closures already in place on US-31 between Jackson Avenue and Third Street.

This work is weather dependent.
