The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) men's golf team is set to compete in the NCAA National Championships, taking place in Orlando, Florida. The event will be held at the Orange County National Golf Course, starting Tuesday morning.

The team will participate in one round each day from Tuesday to Thursday. Their goal is to be among the eight teams advancing to the match play quarterfinals. GVSU's first tee-off is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, alongside Indiana (Pa.) and West Florida.

Representing GVSU this week are Drew Coble, Nick Krueger, Manuel Cue Vargas, Bryce Wheeler, and Charlie Cooley. Notably, Coble, Krueger, Cue Vargas, and Wheeler contributed to a fourth-place finish at Regionals. Both Cue Vargas and Coble achieved top-10 finishes during that event.

This marks the third consecutive year that the Lakers have qualified for the National Tournament. Last year, they recorded their best performance in program history by advancing to match play for the first time and securing a tie for fifth place.
