The baseball series between Grand Valley State and Davenport, initially set to commence on Friday at 2 p.m., has been rescheduled. Due to a forecast predicting adverse weather conditions for Friday, the opening game will now take place on Thursday, May 2, with the first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. at the GVSU Baseball Field.
The rest of the series remains unchanged, with a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday. Notably, twelve seniors will be recognized before Sunday's game at 12:30 p.m.
The updated schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, May 2 - Game at 2 p.m. at GVSU
- Saturday, May 4 - Doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at GVSU
- Sunday, May 5 - Senior recognition ceremony at 12:30 p.m., followed by a game starting at 1:00 p.m. at GVSU
