Grand Valley State Baseball plans golf outing for October
The 2024 Grand Valley State Baseball Alumni & Friends Golf Outing is scheduled for October 12, 2024, at Wallingwood Springs Golf Course in Jenison, Michigan. The event invites GVSU Baseball alumni, friends, and the new coaching staff to participate in a day of golf. Following the golf outing, attendees can join a football tailgate and attend the football game against Northern Michigan at 7 p.m. in the AD Suite.

The Grand Valley State baseball program has announced the dates for its 2024 prospect camps. The first camp will take place on Saturday, August 10, followed by the second camp on Saturday, September 14, and the third and final camp on Saturday, October 19.

Grand Valley State University announced the addition of eight new members to the Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Charles H. Irwin Dinner. This year's class marks the 38th induction into the Athletics Hall of Fame.

Four Lakers earn spots on NCBWA Midwest all-region team
Grand Valley State University has placed four athletes on the 2024 NCBWA All-Midwest Region team. Junior left fielder Ryan Dykstra earned first-team honors, while senior center fielder Kyle Nott, junior designated hitter Jonan Gulbrandsen, and sophomore pitcher Mike Morawski were named to the second team. The Lakers recently secured the 2024 GLIAC Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional for the first time since 2016.
