Grand Valley State athletes recognized on D2CCA All-Midwest Region teams

The NCAA Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association has announced the 2025 All-Midwest Region team, recognizing five players from Grand Valley State University. Among them, seniors Jayden Dentler and Jonas Gulbrandsen, along with junior Evan Morrison, were named to the first team. Additionally, senior Ryan Dykstra and junior Collin Bradley received second-team honors.

Jayden Dentler concluded his season with a perfect 12-0 record and a 2.73 earned run average over 14 starts. His performance included tying the GVSU program record for single-season wins. He pitched 89 innings, achieving three complete games and striking out 69 batters.

Jonas Gulbrandsen finished the year with a .342 batting average, leading the GLIAC in home runs (15) and RBIs (62). He also ranked second in hits with 78 and recorded a season-best hitting streak of 17 games.

Evan Morrison played all 57 games at shortstop, achieving a .341 batting average with significant contributions in hits, doubles, home runs, triples, and RBIs. He set a new GVSU single-season record by scoring 73 runs.

Ryan Dykstra hit .330 during the season while leading the GLIAC in doubles. His overall performance included multiple achievements across various statistical categories.

Collin Bradley achieved a record of 7-2 on the mound with an ERA of 3.08 over his appearances this season. He demonstrated consistency by maintaining strong pitching statistics throughout his outings.

Under head coach Jordan Keur's leadership in his second year, Grand Valley State completed their campaign with a record of 43-14 and progressed to the third round of the NCAA DII tournament.
