The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) men's and women's track and field teams excelled at the 2024 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on their home campus. The GVSU women secured their 24th consecutive GLIAC Outdoor Championship with a score of 245.5 points, surpassing Saginaw Valley State's 147 points. The men claimed their 17th league title overall, marking six consecutive wins, with a score of 319 points, also ahead of Saginaw Valley State's 151 points.

In the men's events, Antonio Passarelli finished fourth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.50 seconds. Andrew Pizzico took third place in the 200 meters at 21.39 seconds, while Henry Kennedy was sixth at 22.07 seconds. Myles Rhodes won the GLIAC crown in the 400 meters with a time of 46.98 seconds, followed by Zach Pray and Dominik Balenda in second and third places respectively.

Patrick Lyell led the Lakers to victory in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:51.14, while Caleb Futter won the men's 1500 meters at 3:54.17 minutes. Daniel Lambert topped the podium in the men's 5000 meters finishing at a time of 14:30.94 minutes.

Joe Rinke placed fourth in the men's 10,000 meters with Colin Kachlic and Colin Hanson following closely behind him.

Joshua Hurt spearheaded a sweep for GVSU in the men's hurdles category winning first place with Ethan Smith and Steven Harris securing second and third positions respectively.

The relay teams also performed strongly; GVSU's team consisting of Antonio Passarelli, Nicholas Walper, Andrew Pizzico, and Myles Rhodes clinched first place in the men’s 4x100 relay event.

On field events for men, Myles Kerner took first place in shot put with Matt Thomas coming third; James Mackey Jr won discus throw; Matt Thomas again led hammer throw results while Bobby Maxwell claimed victory for javelin throwers.

For women athletes from GVSU performing notably well included Taylor Kyle who came third during her attempt within female’s division competing over distances up till reaching around approximately twelve point zero one - though she wasn't alone because Melia Williams earned herself fifth position too alongside other top competitors such as Catherine Guckenberger taking bronze spot amongst participants running through two hundred meter dash segment this past championship season just concluded recently held thereupon campuses grounds located inside West Michigan region where these races were being hosted together showcasing many different talents across both genders simultaneously without exception whatsoever throughout entire duration lasting several days back-to-back filled exciting action packed drama-filled moments shared among everyone involved collectively celebrating achievements attained thus far achieved until now reached finally today!

Klaudia O'Malley emerged victorious twice during her performances winning titles firstly capturing an individual accolade under heading eight hundred then repeating success shortly thereafter same discipline yet slightly longer distance five thousand respective events consecutively demonstrating outstanding prowess displayed consistently every single race entered participated fully committed dedication shown unwavering determination spirit never giving up no matter what circumstances faced overcoming obstacles challenges met along journey ultimately leading triumphantly atop podium
