GVSU hosts Lake Superior State and Ferris State in key basketball matchups

The Grand Valley State men's basketball team is set to host two highly ranked opponents this week. The Lakers will face Lake Superior State, currently ranked ninth, on Thursday at 8:00 PM. Following that, they will take on Ferris State, ranked sixteenth, on Saturday at 3:00 PM.

Grand Valley State enters the homestand with a balanced record of 10-10 overall and a conference record of 6-6. The team aims to recover from recent losses against Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. This season, the Lakers are averaging 73.8 points per game with a shooting percentage of 43% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc.
