Rylie Bisballe, a senior at Grand Valley State University (GVSU), has been named the 2025 D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year. Already a two-time GLIAC Player of the Year, Bisballe continues to build on her impressive career.
Bisballe's performance this season contributed significantly to GVSU's 32-2 record, earning them both the GLIAC regular season and tournament titles, as well as the top seed in the region. She averaged 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 50.7% from the floor. Additionally, she was recognized as the league's Defensive Player of the Year with statistics that include 71 assists, 58 steals, and 26 blocks.
This season, Bisballe reached a milestone by surpassing 1,500 career points and moved into GVSU's top five for made field goals (628) and rebounds (888). Despite playing an average of only 21.9 minutes per game, she recorded four double-doubles and scored in double figures in 28 games this season, scoring over 20 points on three occasions.
