State Representative Bradley Slagh from Zeeland has announced that he will be holding office hours in three locations on March 24. Residents of Hudsonville, Jenison, and Zeeland are invited to meet with him to discuss their concerns and questions.
The schedule for the meetings is as follows: Frank’s Restaurant in Zeeland from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Signatures Coffee & Espresso in Hudsonville from 1 to 2 p.m., and Biggby Coffee in Jenison from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Rep. Slagh plans to provide updates on legislative matters during these sessions. He emphasized his involvement in introducing a plan aimed at improving Michigan's roads without increasing taxes. "Michigan residents are already taxed more than enough – they deserve to have government services as basic as road maintenance taken care of quickly and reliably," Slagh stated. "I’m pleased to be part of a real solution that will provide safer roads to our communities for years to come."
Other topics that Rep. Slagh intends to address include ensuring fairness in girls' sports, protecting the state from shutdowns, holding sanctuary cities accountable, and enhancing government oversight and transparency.
Appointments are not required for these meetings. However, those who cannot attend but wish to speak with Rep. Slagh can contact his office by phone or email.
