Rylie Bisballe, a senior at Grand Valley State University (GVSU), has been named to the D2CCA First-Team All-American, as announced by the organization today. This accolade adds to her growing list of achievements, including being named a WBCA All-American.
Bisballe, in her fifth year, has played a significant role in leading GVSU to the Final Four with an impressive 36-2 record. She averaged 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season and achieved five double-doubles. Her shooting accuracy stood at 51.4% from the field and 72.1% from the free throw line. Originating from Lake City, Michigan, she ranked second on her team for steals with 65 and recorded 28 blocks. This season saw her ascend into the top-five positions in program history for points, made field goals, and rebounds.
During her time at GVSU in Allendale, Bisballe has twice been recognized as both a WBCA All-American and a D2CCA All-American. Her accolades also include being named D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year and receiving GLIAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year honors twice each. She has consistently earned All-GLIAC recognition and was part of four GLIAC All-Defensive teams while making it to the D2CCA Midwest All-Region first team for two consecutive years.
