On Monday, March 24, former Grand Haven High School standout Emersen Berndt’s current collegiate team the Grand Valley State Lakers won 60-32 against the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Gannon Golden Knights during the championship.

Emersen Berndt’s hometown is Grand Haven and game position is guard.
