Rep. Bill Huizenga, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 4th district, shared several updates on social media recently. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969 and a graduate of Calvin College, Huizenga has been a member of Congress since 2011 after succeeding Pete Hoekstra.

The following day, on May 15, he posted another tweet, again without additional commentary or explanation.

In another update on May 15, Rep. Huizenga announced the introduction of the Chip Security Act through a tweet. He stated: "Today, I introduced the Chip Security Act, bipartisan legislation to protect American innovation and prevent advanced AI computer chips from falling into the wrong hands." He extended his gratitude to fellow representatives including @RepBillFoster and @RepMoolenaar for their collaboration on this initiative.

Bill Huizenga's political career began in the Michigan House of Representatives where he served from 2003 to 2009 before moving to Congress. He resides in Holland with his family.
