Rep. Bill Huizenga, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 4th district, shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets on June 4, 2025.
In one tweet posted at 13:44 UTC, Huizenga addressed the potential benefits of certain legislative policies to the economy and society. He stated, "Yes, yes it is… and yet we have legislative policy makers who don’t understand that or see the potential benefits to our economy and society. Keep up the drumbeat @MorningsMaria".
Later in the day, at 20:36 UTC, he criticized the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) for what he referred to as "fuzzy math." In his tweet, he compared two analyses conducted by CBO: "The CBO has a track record of fuzzy math. For example, the Trump Tax Cuts outperformed CBO’s flawed analysis by $1.5 trillion. Conversely, the CBO painted a rosy picture of the Democrat IRA when in reality it cost taxpayers hundreds of billions more than CBO projected!"
Shortly thereafter at 20:58 UTC, Huizenga expressed approval in another tweet by simply posting "".
Bill Huizenga has served in Congress since replacing Pete Hoekstra in 2011 and was previously a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969 and currently residing in Holland, Huizenga graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
