Rep. Bill Huizenga, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 4th district, has been active on social media, sharing his thoughts and acknowledgments on various issues.

On June 4, 2025, Huizenga expressed gratitude to Kasey Cronquist for recognizing his efforts in agriculture. He stated, "Thanks @kaseycronquist for the shout out! As you know, this is a critical issue to growers and I’m proud to fight for Michigan Ag!" This tweet highlights his commitment to supporting agricultural interests in Michigan.

Two days later, on June 6, 2025, Huizenga paid tribute to the heroes of D-Day. He tweeted, "Today we honor the memory of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy and changed the course of history. May God continue to watch over these extraordinary heroes and hold close the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to liberate Europe." His message commemorates those who played a pivotal role during World War II.

Later that day, he commented on ongoing trade negotiations involving China. He remarked on progress being made and emphasized the need for toughness in these discussions: "Good progress on a very important negotiation. @SecScottBessent @howardlutnick and @USTradeRep will need to be tough and aggressive with China!"

Bill Huizenga has served in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Pete Hoekstra. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969, Huizenga currently resides in Holland and holds a BA from Calvin College.
