Speaker Matt Hall recently took to social media to discuss significant issues related to Michigan's infrastructure and economic opportunities. His statements provide insight into ongoing legislative discussions and his perspective on federal leadership.

On July 10, 2025, Hall announced via Twitter that he has proposed a $3.1 billion plan aimed at improving Michigan’s local roads. He stated, "We passed this plan in the House, and the Governor agrees with a lot of it." However, he criticized Senate Democrats for their lack of action, noting that they have provided "no plan, no negotiation, just endless excuses," while emphasizing that local leaders are demanding progress.

A subsequent tweet posted shortly after included a link, though it did not contain any additional commentary or context from Hall himself.

Later in the day, Hall appeared on @930WFMD to discuss the impact of former President Trump’s policies on Michigan's economy. In his tweet, he remarked on new opportunities and investments observed by suppliers in Michigan. Hall attributed these developments to Trump’s agenda by stating, "The results speak for themselves—credit goes to @realDonaldTrump."
