The Grand Valley State women's golf team secured their first win of the fall season at the Bulldog Fall Classic in Big Rapids, Michigan. The Lakers led both days of the tournament and finished with a total score of seven over par, 20 strokes ahead of second-place Ferris State. Tiffin, Gannon, and Wayne State rounded out the top five teams.

Lea Stotz achieved her first collegiate victory by leading both rounds and finishing six strokes ahead of her nearest competitor. She ended with a final score of four under par after shooting a 70 in the last round and making three birdies. Rachael Krieger finished as runner-up at two over par, also carding three birdies in her final round. June Hsiao placed third, shooting a 70 with five birdies to finish at three over par.

Other notable performances included Charlotte Goersch, who finished eighth after an even-par round of 72 with two birdies, and Heida Rafnsdottir, tied for 13th at nine over par with five birdies in her final round. Skyler Tierney tied for 27th place at fifteen over par after making two birdies in her round of 74. Evelyn Park made one birdie during her round and tied for 54th place, while Lorena Saquicoray finished in 66th place.

The Lakers will return to Allendale to host their final home event of the fall season, the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite on Monday.
