Rep. Bill Huizenga, a U.S. Congressman representing Michigan’s 4th district and Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s South and Central Asia Subcommittee, posted a series of tweets on October 20, 2025, addressing both foreign policy and legislative accountability.

In his first tweet of the day, Huizenga wrote, "As Chairman of @HouseForeignGOP South and Central Asia Subcommittee, today I led a bipartisan letter with Ranking Member @RepKamlagerDove urging President Trump to host and personally attend the C5+1 Leaders Summit with Central Asian leaders. @POTUS’s leadership and personal https://t.co/f33e6IPFrc" (October 20, 2025).

Later, Huizenga highlighted the No Budget, No Pay Act, sharing a resource for more information: "Read more about the No Budget, No Pay Act here: https://t.co/A1L3monlwm" (October 20, 2025).

In another post directed at a popular talk show, he stated, ".@TheView you may be interested to know that @RepScottPeters and I have introduced bipartisan No Budget, No Pay for Congress legislation in the House to do this. Let's hold Congress accountable and force Members of Congress to go without a paycheck until a budget resolution and https://t.co/ADeyoGZl7y" (October 20, 2025).

Bill Huizenga has served in the U.S. Congress since 2011, representing Michigan’s 4th District after succeeding Pete Hoekstra. He previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969, Huizenga resides in Holland and holds a bachelor’s degree from Calvin College, which he earned in 1991.
