The annual Anchor-Bone Classic between Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids. The football game, which is part of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), will begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.

Organizers are encouraging fans to purchase tickets online ahead of time, as only 8,000 tickets will be available for the event. Tickets can be bought at FerrisStateBulldogs.com/Tickets. FSU students can obtain a free ticket by presenting a valid student ID at the FSU Athletics Ticket Office inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"A large crowd is expected for the game, which traditionally has both major conference and national implications. Bulldog fans are also encouraged to wear black as part of a 'Black Out' effort and free black 'Beat GV' beanies will be given out at the entrance to the first 500 fans on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans without tickets to the game are advised to purchase in advance and those with tickets are also encouraged to arrive early to avoid potential long lines the morning of the game."

Tailgating lots will open three hours before kickoff at 10 a.m., while the Wheeler Pavilion Gameday Ticket Office opens at 11 a.m. for ticket pickup or walk-up purchases if any remain.

Ticket prices are set at $25 for adults, $20 for FSU faculty/staff and seniors aged 65 or older, and $15 for students aged 5–17. Additional information is available by calling (231) 591-2888 or visiting FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

Parking near Top Taggart Field costs $15 per car and $35 per oversized vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis. Grand Valley State supporters should use lots 4A, 4B, and 4G located north and east of Top Taggart Field. Organizers remind attendees not to hold multiple parking spots due to limited availability.
