City of Grand Haven issued the following announcement on Mar 16.
PROJECT TRAFFIC ADVISORY, US-31/M-104, OTTAWA COUNTY
The bridge rehabilitation work on the US-31 Bascule Bridge over Grand River and 5 other structures nearby on US-31/M-104 is in construction in the Cities of Grand Haven and Ferrysburg and Village of Spring Lake.
This phase of construction will focus on rehabilitating the SB US-31 bascule bridge deck requiring SB US-31 traffic to be shifted onto NB US-31. This phase of construction will also involve rehabilitating the SB US-31 bridge deck over Third Street, rehabilitating the SB US-31 bridge deck over M-104, and rehabilitating the SB US-31 bridge approaches over the South Channel. To avoid congestion and delays SB US-31 thru traffic is being detoured utilizing I-96, M-231, and M-45
