Goalkeeper Cailynn Junk has been recognized as the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week, marking her second time receiving this honor during the current season. The announcement was made by the league office.
Junk achieved her fourth individual shutout of the season last Friday when Grand Valley State University (GVSU) secured a 2-0 victory against Parkside on their turf. During the match, Junk made two saves and recorded her second shutout against the Rangers this season. Her performance improved her record to 6-1-3 in goal for the season, with a total of 24 saves.
