Grand Valley State excels in GLIAC 2024 All-Conference honors

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its 2024 All-Conference honors on Thursday night at Jackson Field in Lansing, Michigan. Grand Valley State University had a notable presence with ten players named to the All-GLIAC team. Among them, five athletes received First-Team accolades.

Grand Valley State's baseball team secured an 8-1 victory over Parkside in the opening round of the GLIAC Tournament on Thursday. This win advances them to a Friday night game against either Wayne State or Davenport.

Senior relief pitcher Sam Leck, senior center fielder Kyle Nott, junior third baseman Jonas Gulbrandsen, junior left fielder Ryan Dykstra, and sophomore pitcher Mike Morawski were recognized with first-team honors. Additionally, senior pitcher Nick Rutkowski, senior shortstop Connor Schuman, and junior catcher Brendan Guciardo earned second-team selections. Junior pitcher Will Goebel and sophomore second baseman Ayden VanEnkevort received honorable mentions.
