The Grand Valley State men's track and field team is set to participate in the USATF U20 Championships, which will take place from June 12 to June 13 in Eugene, Oregon. The Lakers are sending five athletes to compete in various events.
Dolan Gonzales and Michael Griffey will begin the competition on June 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET. Gonzales is scheduled for the pole vault event, while Griffey will participate in the hammer throw.
On the same day, Sam Allen will run in the 800m race at 7:08 p.m. ET, followed by Owen Westerkamp's participation in the 3000m steeplechase at 8:26 p.m. ET.
The second day of competition on June 13 features Andrew Berryhill competing in the men's shot put event starting at 9:00 p.m. CT.
