The Grand Valley State track and field team concluded their regular outdoor season with several athletes participating in "last chance" meets across various states. The goal was to qualify for the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals.

In Allendale, at the GVSU 10 Event Last Chance Meet, Erika Beistle set a new school record in the women's discus throw with a personal-best distance of 58.89m. Margaret Stevenson and Paige Westra also achieved personal bests in the event, with throws of 55.51m and 48.00m respectively.

In the women's shot put, Erika Beistle led her team to a top-five finish with a throw of 16.75m. Mackenize Bohrer secured second place with a distance of 15.36m, followed by Reette Thorns (14.45m), Margaret Stevenson (14.42m), and Paige Westra (14.10m).

Shelby Ulven and Alaina Omonode finished first and second in the women's weight throw, recording distances of 57.67m and 56.99m respectively.

In pole vaulting events, Taylor DeHommel cleared a height of 4.08m to take second place while Lily Renfrew reached fifth place at 3.84m.

For the men's team, Bobby Maxwell won first place in javelin with a throw of 65.56m, while Will Gaston came third at 50.35m.

Nathan Spitzley took third place in men's weight throw with a distance of 53.75m; James Mackey JR followed closely behind in fifth at 52.90m.

Wyatt Alwine achieved a personal-best height of 5.23m to win first place in men's pole vaulting, with Dolan Gonzales reaching second at another personal-best height of 5.18m and Colton Emeott finishing third at 5.08m.

In North Carolina's Lenior-Rhyne Last Chance Meet, the men's relay squad—Antonio Passarelli, Andrew Pizzicio, Nicholas Walper, Myles Rhodes—set a new school record time of 39.97 seconds in the men's 4x100 meter relay.

The women's relay team comprising Melia Williams, Taylor Kyle, Alaina Diaz, Kate Zang placed second with their personal-best time of 45.61 seconds.

Steven Harris led Grand Valley State’s men’s hurdles efforts by finishing third overall within his category; he clocked an impressive timing rate equaling precisely fourteen point zero five seconds:
