The Annual Tulip Dig is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, starting at 9:00 a.m. Participants have the option to visit Centennial Park, Window on the Waterfront, or Windmill Island Gardens for the event. The cost is set at $10 per 5-gallon bucket, with no need for pre-registration.

Organizers emphasize that "ALL buckets must be tagged before digging, no exceptions." Attendees are reminded to bring their own digging tools and buckets. The process involves selecting a park, paying the fee, having the bucket tagged, choosing a spot, and beginning to dig. Participants are responsible for providing all necessary items such as buckets, digging tools, and gardening gloves. Payment will be accepted in cash only.

This year, maps will not be provided. Instead, participants are encouraged to take photos of the tulips they wish to dig up since "the petals will be gone!" The event follows a "shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m." Once the tulips are dug up, there will be no more available.
