The City of Holland is inviting residents to apply for a position on the Board of Appeals. This volunteer board plays a crucial role in reviewing applications from homeowners and developers concerning property use, flag lots creation, building setback variances, accommodations for persons with disabilities, and other zoning, construction, or housing code variances.

Candidates interested in joining the board should possess critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate whether requests comply with variance standards. Eligibility requires residency within the City of Holland and experience in fields such as engineering, architecture, building, construction, planning, real estate, or related areas.
