U.S. News & World Report has awarded Holland Hospital the national recognition of "High Performing Hospital for Hip Replacement."
“Holland Hospital is pleased to receive this elite recognition over multiple years,” Kristie Dennett, MSN musculoskeletal services manager and coordinator of orthopedic quality initiatives, said in a press release from Holland Hospital. “It’s a welcome acknowledgement of our organization-wide commitment to quality performance in joint replacement. We sincerely thank our expert medical staff, employees and volunteers for their exceptional teamwork and dedication to consistent high-quality care for all our patients.”
This is the third year in a row the hospital has earned this recognition, which places it in the top 10 to 20% of hospitals with superior outcomes.
U.S. News & Report considers over 4,500 hospitals to award recognition, and only hospitals of the highest performance earn the award. Less than a third of all hospitals in the U.S. qualify for the honor.
