Of the 5,572 people living in Zeeland in 2019, 56.2 percent (3,130) were women and 43.8 percent (2,442) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Holland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,561-to-1,375. In the 65 and over age range, there were 876 females and 539 males.
