Census Bureau: More women than men in Ottawa County in 2019

Of the 286,558 people living in Ottawa County in 2019, 50.6 percent (144,958) were women and 49.4 percent (141,600) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Holland Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 88,368-to-87,017. In the 65 and over age range, there were 22,940 females and 18,953 males.
