The GVSU women's golf team is set to compete at their home course for the first time this season, hosting the Folds of Honor Challenge at The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan.

This year marks the inaugural women's edition of the event. The winning team will qualify for next season's Folds of Honor Collegiate. Competing alongside the Lakers are Lincoln University, Ferris State, Findlay, West Texas A&M, and Oklahoma City University. Notably, Findlay and West Texas A&M were both ranked within the top five in the WGA preseason poll.

Earlier this week, the Lakers began their season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Grand Haven, where they placed 14th as a team. Olivia Stoll achieved the highest individual placement for GVSU at 29th. Joining Stoll this week are Paula Badino, Julia Sanchez, Rachael Krieger, and Charlotte Goersch. Additionally, Megan Miron and Evelyn Park will participate as individuals.

Live results will be available throughout the tournament.
