The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) women's golf team is set to host the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite at the Meadows this weekend. The competition will feature 18 holes played on both Saturday and Sunday.

Last fall, GVSU emerged victorious in this event, winning by six strokes. Olivia Stoll claimed the individual title with a score of +5, while Julia Sanchez and Rachael Krieger also finished in the top five.

This tournament marks the second home event for the Lakers this year. In early September, they participated in the Folds of Honor Challenge at the Meadows, securing second place. During that three-day event, Stoll, Paula Badino, Megan Miron, and Krieger all achieved top-10 finishes.

All nine members of the Laker golf team will compete this weekend. The starting lineup includes Stoll, Badino, Charlotte Goersch, Miron, and Krieger. Sanchez, Lea Stotz, Evelyn Park, and Lorena Saquicoray will participate as individuals.
